Keeping Salon Clients Informed

I was getting really tired of hearing my customers say that hadn’t heard anything about the sale the salon had had that they’d missed last week. So many people don’t read the newspapers anymore and my boss has cut way back on mail-outs, because they’ve become so expensive. So last year I suggested we start an email marketing campaign to let our clients know when we’ve got a styling or coloring special coming up, or a product sale. It took a few months to get the software up and running (and looking pretty!) and then gathering emails took awhile. But now when we’re running a special, more people show up, ready for it. Good times, all around!
