Shimano Stella FD – The Last Reel You’ll Every Buy

I really liked my old fishing reel, and I would still be using it today if the airline had not broken it.  I was not happy at the prospect of replacing my familiar gear, but my fishing buddy recommended that I try the Shimano Stella FD before deciding on a replacement reel.  I knew just by the brand that it would be high quality construction, cast aluminum as a matter of fact.  I had my old gear for so long, that I had no idea how much it had cost, and I was a little nervous about the cost to this new reel.  After trying it, however, I was completely sold.  And aside from performance there were two things that sold me on it.  First of all I did not want to have it wear out, and secondly with its cast aluminum construction I don’t think that the airlines could break it even if they tried.
