I want to buy a new stand mixer. It’ll be very difficult for me not to give in to temptation when I look up all these mixer reviews, but I must resist! I must resist buying anything until I find the best mixer. I make bread and cookies very often, so I’ll definitely need a heavy-duty mixer in my kitchen. I’ve found that the so-called dough hooks on the cheaper mixers don’t last very long, and the motor actually gives out if you use it too often or for too long at a stretch. I don’t expect my new mixer to last more then 20 years but at least I expect the motor is powerful enough to get the job done.
