Mother Eulogy: Honored with a Difficult Task

It was the most devastating week of my life.  My best friend’s mother was killed in a car accident.  It was so difficult watching my friend go through all the funeral preparations.  They wanted to properly celebrate and honor their mother’s life, but their grief made it incredibly difficult.  I was so honored and also scared when they asked me to read a eulogy.  The children didn’t think they would be able to get through it, so they asked me.  It was really difficult to write a fitting eulogy for a mother, a wife, a friend, and an amazing person.  I needed to make sure I didn’t miss anything and that I made the family happy.  They said I did a great job, and that is one test I’m glad I passed!
