Learning the Major Scales is Part of Learning to Play the Guitar
When learning to play the guitar, you will learn that it is a little different from playing other instruments. The guitar has major scales that move up the scale by degrees. Some of the movements only go half a degree while others go a whole degree. Either way, your fingers will move on the strings, and your finger positions change. If you don’t follow the right finger movements, you will have difficulty moving from scale to scale. Learning the scales is part of learning to play the guitar correctly and efficiently. If you want to play the guitar right, you have to learn the scales.
