Car Auctions.
Car dealerships, and representatives from car dealerships will often attend open car auctions, in the hopes of finding some good buys. This happens quite often with volunteer auctions run by Goodwill and other non-profit groups. The dealers know that they can find cheaper prices there than at closed auctions where they are competing against other dealers.
