Finding the perfect backhoe for the job was not as easy as I thought it was going to be.
My husband and I are constructing a new home. We plan to do as much of the work as we can, without having to hire someone. My husband attended a vocational high school, but he is by no means a contractor. I can use a hammer and a screwdriver, but that's about it. We know this will be a challenge, and we will need a lot of advice along the way. We are about to begin digging the foundation. finding the perfect backhoe for the job was not as easy as I thought it was going to be. I assumed we would go into the equipment rental store and rent a backhoe. I didn't know they would have several available and we would have to choose between the many models. We may have bitten off more than we can chew. I think we need to hire a contractor immediately!
