Some Forms of Workplace Harassment
Some of the forms of workplace harassment includes verbal harassment, sexual harassment, and physical harassment. Verbal harassment is a derogatory or lewd remark concerning an employee’s age, race, gender, religion, national origin, physical appearance, or disability. Sexual harassment involves verbal or physical conduct concerning a sexual nature. It involves derogatory conduct taking place by e-mail. Physical harassment can involve aggressive physical conduct such as hitting, pushing, or shoving. These actions along with racial, religious, gender, age, appearance, disability or other characteristics can be workplace harassment as these actions can cause hostile work relations.
