Don’t skip the important book publishing services.
Many authors, who have self-published their books, employ the use of book publishing services to increase the likelihood of being successful. A lot of bookstores will not put self-published books on their shelves, therefore some self-published authors will get help with marketing their book. Proofreading and editing are services that a self-published author can purchase. Typographical errors and grammar mistakes can cause a book to be labeled as inferior. It is possible to self-publish a book and proofread, edit, and market it. But, taking on all of these roles may not be in an author’s best interest.
