Why I need to learn proper bidding of government contracts
Last week I got a phone call from an official at the county jail. He said for a number of reasons, he didn’t get into it, the jail was now going to have the food brought in and was wondering what we would charge. I told him I would call him back very soon. I have had very limited exposure to Bidding Government Contracts. It’s not that I didn’t want to provide the food from my food service; however I just simply didn’t know how to go about it. I did a quick review of a sample government procurement contract from years ago. Hopefully this will give me some insight.
