Mother Eulogy: Honored with a Difficult Task

It was the most devastating week of my life.  My best friend’s mother was killed in a car accident.  It was so difficult watching my friend go through all the funeral preparations.  They wanted to properly celebrate and honor their mother’s life, but their grief made it incredibly difficult.  I was so honored and also scared when they asked me to read a eulogy.  The children didn’t think they would be able to get through it, so they asked me.  It was really difficult to write a fitting eulogy for a mother, a wife, a friend, and an amazing person.  I needed to make sure I didn’t miss anything and that I made the family happy.  They said I did a great job, and that is one test I’m glad I passed!

Busy Mom

I am a mother of two teen age boys, a wife and a full time social worker in a community action agency that works with the underprivileged in the inner city.  I often meet myself coming and going because I have so many major commitments.  Our agency needs someone to learn Spanish and there will be a nice raise and promotion for the person who does it.  I need that money but there is no way I can sit in a classroom to learn the language.  I have done a Rocket Spanish review, at the beginning level, and I am proud to say that in a matter of just a few short weeks, I am on my way to that pay increase.

Your Protection

Concluded in 1970 the Patent Cooperation Treaty was designed to protect international inventions. This treaty is filed to protect an invention and this process has two phases. Phase one is the international one where the patent is currently pending, the second phase is the national one. This is the phase where the patent is actually granted. Where the legal documents are drawn and you have protection of your invention granted. This process usually takes a lot of time and money if you miss dates and deadlines. Filing for a PCT takes years and a lot of patience this process can be very  long, but if the given time period of filing has run out you will have to start from the beginning.

Creditor Claims on Wills

I do not think that there is a person involved in the will of my sister that did not already know that she had a lot of debt. It is true that she was incredibly successful in the business world but we all knew that she had problems with creditors. Now that she has passed away and I hold the executor duties to the estate I am very worried about what I will find out. There are a lot of hands in the pot and I want to make sure that I clear her name and let the family think of her as handling all of her debt.
