Family Finance Birthdays on a Budget

One of the basics of family finance is learning to cut corners where you can. Spend less on birthdays this year by following these few simple rules. Instead of purchasing every item with an expensive theme, go to your local dollar store and pick up coordinating solid color accessories. Then, splurge on just a few items that have your chosen theme like a cake and balloons as these will stand out the most. Another great idea is to have your party at your home or if your child’s birthday falls in a warm month, at your local park. Birthdays on a budget do not have to be lacking in style. With a few inexpensive touches, you can throw a bash that is both inexpensive and adorable.

Memory Recline

Again, genius ideas come from necessity. I am sure that one day one frustrated mother could not get the seat to recline just the way the baby liked it and for the rest of that day the mother had to endure a cranky child. I am sure that is how the Cortina Stroller came about with its ingenious idea to have a memory recline seat in their stroller. No longer do you have to tug and pull to make sure the seat is exactly where your picky rider likes to have their seat. It is an easy function that takes so away so much guess work and fidgeting.

Sleeping Like A Baby

Isn't it amusing how when you ask someone how they slept they say I slept like a baby, indicating they had a great nights sleep.  Yet we who actually have babies know that baby sleep isn't all that great. For a start these gorgeous little human beings wake or have to be woken every 3 or 4 hours for a feed when you first get them home. Those night feeds can really put a strain on poor old mum and dad who are battling from exhaustion and sleep deprivation.  Then you eventually get to the stage where your little child sleeps through the entire night. It's magic after you have learned to relax and stop checking that everything is alright. Then just as you settle in whammo - they start teething and the sleepness are worse then ever.

Baby Gender Predictor - Pink or Blue?

There are very few ways to assess the sex of your child in vitro. The fact is, the only true way to know one hundred percent is by amniocentesis, but that hasn’t stopped years of folk lore from generating a series of baby gender predictors. Such baby gender predictors can be based on the foods that you eat, the way your baby carries, what foods you crave in your later months, your blood pressure, the Chinese lunar calendar, and so many more that I couldn’t possibly name them all. When trying to decide what to paint the nursery, just try to keep an open mind, you can always be surprised.

Internet Safety for Kids

Internet today has become a part of our life and children too are rather enthused by it. Children today even search for their favorite cartoon characters on the internet instead of just sticking to television. But in this situation it is very important to ensure Internet Safety For Kids. Else they might end up opening websites which is not proper for child viewing. This way they can get exposed to pornographic materials too, which can be equally harmful for them.

Never Leave A Child Alone

This is an important rule when babysitting. Never ever leave the children that you’re tending alone. Accidents can happen in a split second. Parents are well aware at how fast things can happen however if you are just starting out in child care and have no children of your own you are more then likely going to be caught out at some stage. Stay aware, kids left alone is a dangerous recipe for disaster. The parents know this and that’s why they hired you. Even if they’re sleeping, check on them often.
