There was a time when I could have never imagined wanting to block the view we got from our large picture window. We found as we lived at the home, that the sun could be downright unbearable in the early evening, and we really wanted to remedy that. It’s great to have books for new ideas and to check on things like plumbing and wiring before I start. My next project is to upgrade to a wood floor in my bedroom. I redesigned my kitchen a few months ago and as part of it I decided to fit some bamboo patio blinds after talking to a friend who told me that she had fitted some into a bedroom and she thought they were one of the best window coverings she had ever seen. Now that I have installed my own patio blinds I think that they really are great even though there is no patio in my bedroom. They really do give a beautiful feeling to the whole room and I am now thinking about putting them in other places.
There is something about a bathroom which really brings out the best in me because I think it is one of the nicest rooms in the house. However I have always been a little bit disappointed with my bathtub, that was until I installed one of the new deep soaking tubs that have become available recently. Since I installed bathtub I now think that my bathroom is even better than it was before and I just wish I had installed six any months ago and then I could have had the pleasure that I have had since using it many times.
