A Tale Of Two Boot Camps
My first boot camp experience was with the navy. We cleaned, marched, studied, marched, ate, marched, slept, and marched. My second experience was in preparation for my MCSE Certification exams, it was callled a mcsa boot camp. In some ways the experience was different but in many ways it was the same. The first thread that I saw was the intensity. We had a limited amount of time to learn the material, develop the skills, work in the lab, eat and sleep. No marching. The other thread, and the one that stands out most for me, was that in both boot camps my instructors really wanted me to learn and in turn, succeed.
