I definitely want offsite backup service for my computer. Until recently, I didn’t even know there was a way to store all my most important files in one place online, and if there was, I was sure it wouldn’t possibly be private. However, all the data protection services I have come across so far, even for free (with limited storage capacity), use some sort of encryption to safeguard the privacy of personal files. I have suffered the loss of both virus protection and hard drive content, and I hope I never have to again. It’s nice to know there are ways to ensure that no matter what type of data loss might befall me, I could retrieve my most valuable files with just a few clicks of a mouse.
