Per projections from several companies, the job of a certified respiratory therapist is going to rise 19 to 26 percent before 2016. This in demand respiratory therapist job outlook is due to the fact that there are a growing number of elderly people in todays day and age. These are most likely going to be patients because most elderly have trouble with emphysema, pneumonia and other lung disorders and diseases. With the attention being put on all the smoking around the world and the air pollution that is all around us, breathing problems for the elderly along with asthma patients of all ages, is becoming a big business.
