The Numismatic – Rare Coins
The study of money, actually called numismatics, is not a new or unusual career. I know what you are thinking; this person has really lost his mind, being paid to study money, right. Well it is true. Numismatic professions are paid to study money, or more to the point, they are paid to study rare coins. Most often a numismatic professional works for a coin certification company, however, they also work for auction houses, coin distributors, and even as independent consultants to buyers and sellers of rare coins who want to get a second professional opinion on a coin they are considering buying or selling. Think about it, wouldn’t it be great to be paid to simply look at money and determine its value?
