Discharge Emitted From A Yeast Infection Can Kill Sperm

In response to the question, “does a yeast infection kill sperm?” the answer is “Yes”. Now, a female will release her egg from the fallopian tube into the uterus despite having a yeast infection and despite having to take medication for it. However, the thick secretion emitted coupled with the thick cream medication used to treat yeast infection can kill the sperm before it reaches the womb. So, naturally, if the sperm doesn’t make it to the egg there is no conception. If the hope of becoming pregnant is why you asked, “Does a yeast infection kill sperm?”—then you know not to try while the infection is present.
