Gyms for wellness
Many businesses now provide gyms that are often state-of-the-art; the bigger companies even support gourmet cafeterias for their workers and a wide array of employee wellness program services.
The employee wellness program can include provision of health risk assessments, programs for weight-loss, and access to consultations with medical professionals. Some companies really take employee wellness programs very seriously. They may provide bicycles (if they have the space) for their employees to cycle around; a garment company may have massage therapists standing by during a production shift to attend to the assembly line crew; a company cafeteria may label the food servings with nutrition information.
