If You Have Hypertension, What Could It Cause?

If you went to the doctor for a check up and he told you that you have hypertension and that you need to go on a medication treatment in order to get it under control. You might ask your doctor what could have caused you to have hypertension and his answer would be that there are many factors that cause it such as smoking, genetics, stress, getting older, not exercising enough, kidney disease, thyroid disorders, adrenal disorders, being overweight, and too much salt. There could be other factors such as diseases that you may have that will cause the hypertension but the ones listed are the main ones.
