Will Dry Macular Degeneration Cause Complete Loss Of Sight?
Dry macular degeneration does not affect the peripheral vision so there will not be complete blindness exclusively from this disease. The center vision may be greatly affected. The person with dry macular degeneration at its worst cannot see well enough to drive a car, read, or be able to distinguish people’s faces because the blind spot in the retina will become too large.
