Have you ever wanted to paint a room but just couldn’t decide on what color you wanted it so you went to the store and bought a bunch of paint samples in order to try on your walls first. Well those paint samples do cost money that you have taken away from your interior design budget when you could have just spent a few dollars and bought some play paints. You can mix them the way you want them and put them on the wall and on a sheet of paper. Then when you find the color you want, take the sample on the sheet and have them make that color for you. Try and see what other designers are using for their particular styles – for example, if you are going for art deco interior design, find some art deco magazines and look at what they use.
