Many use western leather backpacks as briefcases.
I am a college student majoring in criminal justice. I am in my last year of college, so I have been doing an internship as well as taking classes. My internship has required me to visit the courthouse several times and watch court proceedings. I have interacted with several attorneys, and I am surprised at how many use western leather backpacks as briefcases. I don't know if they find that they are easier to carry or just more stylish. Regardless of the reason, many attorneys use them.
